Our Mission
The mission of the RICH Program, short for Restoring Inner City Hope, Inc., is to love, inspire, and empower the youth and families of Baltimore City. At its core, the organization is driven by the belief that every child, regardless of their circumstances, deserves an opportunity to thrive and succeed.
The RICH Program is deeply committed to the city of Baltimore, particularly the Cherry Hill community, where it has its roots. It seeks to break down barriers and create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where young minds can flourish. The mission is not just a statement but a way of life for the founders, Michael and Danielle Battle, and the dedicated team behind the organization.
Through a variety of programs, including after-school and summer initiatives, youth leadership development, workforce training, community outreach, and more, the RICH Program strives to uplift its community. It believes that by investing in education, mentorship, and opportunities for personal and professional growth, it can transform lives, instill hope, and build a brighter future for the youth of Baltimore.
In essence, the RICH Program's mission encapsulates its unwavering commitment to fostering positive change, addressing systemic challenges, and creating a sense of belonging and empowerment among the young people it serves. With love and inspiration as its guiding principles, the organization aims to be a beacon of hope and a catalyst for transformation in Baltimore's inner-city neighborhoods.
